From childhood, Dr. Paul Meade always knew he wanted to become a veterinarian. His father is a vet, and Dr. Meade had quite a few pets when he was young. Watching his father practice veterinary medicine in his hometown of Lebanon, OH helped reinforce the idea that he would eventually follow in his father’s professional footsteps.
After graduating from the University of Georgia with a BS in biological science and a BS in entomology, Dr. Meade attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He began working as a veterinarian with his father at Lebanon Animal Hospital. Now, he and his father are the proud owners of Salt Run Veterinary Clinic.
Additionally, Dr. Meade is currently serving as the Medical Director of the Warren County Humane Association. As the director, he is responsible for overseeing medical care for the area’s homeless pets with a true passion for keeping animals in excellent health.
